What the %@*#?! Wednesday, Part 5

Last week, I shared the little Beast's weird obsession with putting his feet in inappropriate places, like poor Beauty's face. This week, I'd like to highlight another of the the little Beast's freakish behaviors: self stamping. He really loves ink stamps, and I like them too because they keep him occupied so that I can have a minute or three of peace. The problem is, he prefers stamping himself over stamping his art paper.

But stamping himself is really just a small part of the problem. Perhaps a bigger issue might be that I occasionally catch him EATING THE INK! (Gross, and probably mildly toxic.)

And as if eating them was not twisted enough, the little Beast upped the ante this week by creating a new way to misuse his stamps. This is what I discovered when I came out of the laundry room one afternoon.

The little Beast had used his stamps to decorate poor Beauty's adorable face! Fortunately, she thinks the little Beast walks on water, so she didn't mind being temporarily tattooed. But, really, What the %@*#?! Is it too much to ask that he use the stamps the way they were intended, rather than as a sibling torture device?!

Oh....you are daring! My sons looks at a stamp and says, 'mommy's work.' I don't think he'll do that without me for a couple years. At least he picked a cute heart stamp for Beauty's forehead. :)

Why do I have the sinking feeling that this is a snap shot of my life to come when my boy gets a younger sibling? All I have to say, is I hope it makes you feel better that you are not alone in the crazxiness that is your son!! I'm right there with ya! :o)

Oh no! This sounds exactly like Noah - he is forever drawing on himself and his little brother with anything he can get his hands on...markers, make-up, chalk, pens etc.

LOL - you are going to have to start writing some more positive posts on your little beast or I am going to start really thinking you have a terror on your hands. But on the other hand, I look forward to Wed. just because of these posts. : )

Just wait until he shoves beads up her nose. Or you catch him in the closet with her. Cutting. Her. Hair. You have so much to look forward to, I will not ruin all the surprises.

Aww, I think it's cute! But then, I don't have to clean it up. ;)

When I was two and half I cover my baby brother with stickers. They were everywhere, his hair, his face, the bottom of his feet. :p

Thank G-d we you use stamps and not ink-covered needles.

Maybe he'll be a tattoo artist?

I do that to Bub sometimes when he's sleeping. with a pen, though.

Ahh, my son tattooed himself yestserday and I'm learning that I have just a wee bit of patience about it, haha.

At least your little guy had the sense to lovingly stamp his little sis with a HEART! :)

I'm just stopping by to let you know that I have not forgotten about you and your big win! Sadly, with my broken leg, I have procrastinated going through my scrapbook stuff to pick out perfect stuff for you, but I PROMISE I will get it in the mail this weekend.

I may have to include some stamps, just so they can be featured on your children's face on the blog:)

Howdy! I stopped by to welcome you to SITS. Oh, the stamp pads-- for me it's the markers. My daughter is 9 now, and LOVES markers, but they end up all over her hands, face, arms-- you name it. It drives me nuts. I cringed when she came home from grandma's..are you ready?...with a BLACK ink pad. BLACK and it wasn't the kind made for kids. I put it up for her-- WAY up.

My son went to get tubes in his ears 2 weeks ago. As he was sitting on my lap waiting to go back to surgery, I noticed the inside of his ear was blue. He said they were playing with stamp pads at school and he put the ink on his fingers and then put the ink in his ear. At least the ENT thought it was funny!!!

Hey...Did you hear that they are giving Dora a make-over? What are they going to do, make her go through puberty?? Then she can sing "Dora, Dora the PMS #$^*@"

I teach school, stamping ink can't be that hazardous. I have a boy who actually eats his pencils!

Becky said...

Oh my, they are so adorable. I'm so thankful all these crayons, pencils, etc. are not hazardous or else I might be in trouble!

That is hysterical! I cracked up so hard when I saw your daughter with stamps on her head. I can't imagine what it is like to be the younger sibling being experimented on all the time since I was the one usually doing the torturing...oops...I meant experimenting what new things I could do to my younger sis.

Oh, your son is such a character!! ;) I love that he put a little heart right on her forehead. hehe
