Not Me! Monday Postponed

I interrupt our regularly scheduled Not Me! Monday post to bring you this urgent prayer request on behalf of MckMama, creator of Not Me! Monday. Her youngest child, a baby nearly the same age as my Beauty, is in a serious health crisis and needs our help! In the words of Tim from Fort Thompson:

"I need all of the Prayer Soldiers to please join me in prayer.

Stellan who is the son of Jennifer which most of you know as MckMama is in the ICU with SVT which is an irregularly high heartbeat. This is the same thing he was diagnosed with in the womb, which doctors said he could not survive. They said he would for sure die in the womb.

Well with tons of prayer God performed a miracle in this child and he was born totally healthy, and he was indeed very much alive!

Now they need our prayers again. You can read more details on his status by clicking here.

This is my NOT Me Monday post. It will NOT BE ME that doesn't pray for this baby and his family. Make sure that it is NOT you that doesn't pray either
.""

So please do as Tim asks, and lift little Stellan up in prayer! Thank you.

Hi Carebear, thank you so much for your comments today, of course, i was not offended in the slightest, I am always interested to hear the other side of things, it is hard to understand otherwise, and I guess this is a subject I am very close to. I am glad that you managed to come through your depression, and I think that is what is hard for me to understand, why not go for help like you did...maybe it is because it is more tabboo to ask for help when one simply can't cope in the face of disability. post partum depression, hormones, are all explained, depression because you can't cope with your child because they are disabled seems harder to admit to. maybe I'm wrong...it happens occasionally lol!!!
please please don't be offended when I ask this...but what was it that made the dark thoughts stay thoughts, and made you not act on them...was it support? is that what makes the difference?

thank you for the insight, so glad you wrote...thrilled you don't have to go through it all again with your second child. XOXOXO

Thanks for posting about this. I've seen the MckMiracle button on alot of blogs. But today, after reading this post, I checked it out and wow, I need to be praying for this family. He has already been such a blessing to them and I am sure they want to see him healed and back home with them where he belongs.
Will be praying.

I have been praying for Stellan all day yesterday and today. My heart just aches thinking about him being so restless and upset with what's been going on, all the prodding and poking and I'm sure he is scared. And MckMama, I can't even imagine what she must be going through. It's a good thing she is so full of faith and hope and has her heart in the right place. She is an example to us all.
