Another round of the You Capture! challenge, and this week's task was perspective. I had a hard time with this one - I guess I'm not an "out of the box" thinker! I tried several, but here are just 2 examples.
Critiques welcomed and encouraged! Thanks!

This little guy is too cute. I especially love theone where he is looking up and you are shooting down. Great job this week.
You did a great job! I love the pictures.
Have a great day!
Hugs to you!
I think those pictures are great! He is so cute, you'd never know he earned the nickname "Beast"!! :o)
great shots of the "Beast" ... :-)
(he is so cute) my little "beast" is soon to be 25! good job on perspective!

Great shots - thanks for sharing!
I love shots looking up and looking down. Great job!
The second is just perfect! I really love how wide his eyes are in that photo.
I love the second shot- you captured your son's expression as he looks at the one he loves, his mommy!
I'm not an out-of-the-box thinker either...I think you did pretty good for trying something new! You should see if you can get him to look at the camera next time you take a shot like that second one (I know, I know, easier said than done LOL)
I love playground pictures! I must have thousands... it is really easy to get interesting perspectives with the different levels of the play area.
Great colors in both images!
Was the top image shot horizontally or vertically before you cropped it? A general rule of thumb is to avoid putting your subject's face right in the center of the image, if you think about the image being divided up in thirds both horizontally and vertically you want to place you subjects face ideally in one of the spots where the two lines intersect. Your bottom image is pretty close to doing that, if the "Beast's" chin was tilted more towards the bottom and you brought your camera down just a bit it would have been perfect. Overall - excellent job finding a new perspective!

I had a hard time with this challenge too! I took so many pictures only to be disappointed with how they turned out! I love the two you captured, especially the one where you're shooting down!
Very nice!
I am not so good at any of the photography stuff. I do really like that picture you took of him looking up. His expression is great. I have no critique because generally I am happy if the lens on my camera is open all the way when I am snapping pictures. :)
I sm no good at any of the photography stuff but I love taking pictures. I really like that picture you took from above as he is lookingt up. It's a great picture.
Okay I am a dork. I thought I closed the window before submitting it so now I said the same thing twice. Sorry :)
I LOVE the second one! Great picture
What a cutie! My favorite is the one where you are above him. You seem to have captured his spirit well.
I think you did a nice job and that you have an adorable subject to work with. Nice pics!
Man, my 2 year old just hides lately when he sees my camera out! Good job capturing a great expression. I like when a changed perspective shot makes sense-- like your son looking up beyond your shooting point in that second shot. Good job!
Another fun playground perspective is to shoot from the bottom of the slide looking up to your little beast at the top. And include the slide in your shot b/c it tells a story about what is happening.
i think both are great, good job!
Great job! Love the one where the little guy is looking up.
My favorite is the 2nd. Thanks for sharing. Swing by my site, The IE Mommy, to guess my perspective photo!
Gotta Love Perspective! Great job on your under and over shots, the one where you are above him is great! Keep this concept in mind when shooting girlfriends and people you love, it makes just about everyone look slimmer, younger, and less tired, no joke! My husband has been instructed to always shoot me from above ;)
I love your photos! You have captured your son's gorgeous eyes and to me, the curiosity within them.
They look great!
Great shots, I love the second one.
What a doll. I love the second shot, he has such beautiful eyes.
You did a fantastic job. You should give you and your creativity more credit!
EXCELLENT SHOTS!
I love the second pic! Kid pics are always great!
You totally hit it right on! I always love pictures of people looking up towards the camera.
Wow..what nice, natural pictures of your cutie!!
I think you did an awesome job. Especially with picture number two. Well done!
I love the secound one his eyes are so full of wonder. Great lighting on it as well!
