Not Me! Monday, Part 2

Well, last week was so much fun, I might make this a weekly event - with photos! Here is a list of some things I definitely did NOT do this week:

I did NOT bribe my toddler with a sucker and DVD to disract him so I could write this post. Nope, no sucker for the little Beast. Definitely NOT at 8 am. Before breakfast.

And the little Beast absolutely did NOT use his toes to eat the sucker I did NOT give him before breakfast this morning.

For that matter, I have NEVER caught him with his feet actually in his mouth, trying to bite his own toenails. Thank goodness, because that would be disgusting. And if he did in fact, allegedly, maybe, perhaps try biting his own toenails, it was certainly NOT my fault, because I always remember to trim his toenails for him when they get long.

Speaking of toes, I did NOT play catch with my feet this week so that my hands would be free to snap pictures of the utter joy on the little Beast's face while we played ball. (Don't look too closely and you won't notice how badly I do NOT need a pedicure. Or how I am NOT way behind on laundry so it is NOT piled on the couch in the background) Side note:If I had done this though, I could then attest to what a surprisingly great ab workout it is!

I did NOT take the little Beast to the park in the pouring rain because I couldn't stand to be cooped up in the house with him and his boundless energy one second longer. I did NOT drag poor Beauty along too, bundled in five hundred or so blankets and completely covered by the carseat and stroller shades. Beauty did NOT cry almost the entire time because she couldn't see anything but the inside of a stroller shade.

The pathetic little crust of a heart-shaped grilled cheese sandwich was NOT the only thing I ate during the kids' waking hours yesterday. And I did NOT make up for going without by gorging myself on twice Beauty's body weight in Mr. Salty's Chocolate Covered Pretzels after the kiddos were tucked into bed. (Pssstt... you can win some of these delicious salty yet sweet treats here!)

Ha! I love that he ate that sucker with his toes! That's hilarious. And I giggled, too, when I saw the picture of him running in the park because both of my boys have that same hoodie on today! Love it! Happy Monday!

Where do kids learn these crazy habits? Although the photo is priceless, eating with feet is something that we can definitely all do without. My boy tries to do the same thing on occasion. He now knows that I am not a fan! :)

Funny, I was just going to write a blog post confessing that I instructed my 4 year-old today to "only drop SOFT things on Max's (the baby) head." Maybe I'll "not me" that instead :) Love the blog, and I feel your situation - I was two under two, now am three (all boys) four and under. It's crazy but oh so fun, too!

Wow, that is a great skill your son has, my daughter keeps trying to do that, but can't get a good grip with the toes.

Cute post...I love not me Mondays. As for beauty and the beast, funny. Only a little kid can make a sucker fun like that. Those chocolate covered treats look so good.

LOL - only because I've caught my oldest doing similar things with his tootsies.

I love your blog! I had two under two once and remember what fun that was. Your diaper mess cracked me up. If it makes you feel any better I have 5 under 10 now and the older they get...well, it ain't easier but at least there's less diapers involved! :) Happy weekend!
