I Heart Silhouettes
It's silhouette week at i Heart Faces. I dragged the family to the beach to practice, practice, practice Susan Keller's tips for my kids entry, only to learn it was a one entry contest again this week! So my shots of Beauty and the little Beast were pushed aside in favor of my adult entry, a photo I took many weeks ago of my good friend Colleen (seven months pregnant) and her 19-month old daughter.

I know, I wish I had known which categories would be up for this theme. I spent a lot of time trying to get an Aidan shot, but luckily I didn't like any of them... it was easy for me to decide. But poor husband... always my I Heart Faces entry! (he actually said one time he didn't think I'd ever win because he's not 'cute enough.' Silly Chadly!!) : )

This is one of the best "pregnant" shots I've seen. I love how you can tell she is pregnant, but it isn't one of those obvious, hands on the belly shots. Plus, the addition of the older sibling is just perfect along with the simpleness of the photograph being a silhouette.
Oh this is just beautiful! I love everything about it :-) I should have at least TRIED to get a picture this week - but alas, I was too lazy and unmotivated! haha :-)
