I really enjoyed my summer blogcation, but I really missed you, my pretend Internet friends. That's just part of the reason I'm so happy to come back in time to welcome a special bloggy-friend guest! The fabulous women of Moxie Media, a new network of women bloggers, sent their mascot on a virtual tour of the United States recently, and I'm representing Washington State (insert shoutout to the 206 area code here).
I took Moxie Mona on a tour of the most spectacular places in Western Washington this week, and I'd like to share Mona's vacation album with you. When you're done enjoying it, head over to visit any of these ladies from Moxie Media for links to Mona's visits to other states!

First, Mona took in the gorgeous view of Mt. Rainier that I enjoy from my hometown everyday.
Then, she visited Seattle's Alki Beach at sunset.
From Alki Beach, she oohed and aahed over the beautiful Seattle skyline.
And the world famous Space Needle.
I had many other plans for Moxie Mona, but alas, it wasn't to be. While minding her own business in my living room one day, she was attacked and defeated by the Tired Teething Toddler Terror, kryptonite to supermoms everywhere.
See, first Beauty dragged Mona off to her lair:
Then, she contemplated what kind of torture to inflict upon poor Mona:
And finally, she drowned Mona in drool while biting her all over. What a terrible way to go....
Well, it was good while it lasted Mona. I hope you fare better in other states. As for the rest of you, don't forget to check out the brand new blog, Mayhem & Moxie, written by the team formerly known as 3 Bay B Chicks!
Thank you for stopping by! As I rarely have time to update this blog anymore, please come visit me at my new photoblog, Cari Berry Photography where I'll blog the occassional Beauty and the little Beast story, as well as post sneak peeks and stories from all my photo sessions. I try to give return blog love to all visitors over there, and hope to start giveaways there in the very near future!

Mona looks fantastic with the city scape in the background!!
I'm sure she enjoyed The Evergreen State...it's the best there is...but then, I'm biased. :) Great post neighbor!
EEK! Poor Mona...she is always getting into some mess or another. She happened to catch the Swine Flu at my house...
Poor Mona. Love the pictures of your city, thank you for sharing!
Great to meet Mona, but even better to have you back. Love the pictures, can't wait to see more.
welcome back!
Welcome back - looks like a fun trip with a new friend! ;-)
Oh, no!! Poor Mona!!! At least she had an awesome trip before the tragic end. Same thing would have happened in my house, LOL!
Yeah, you're back! We missed you, can't wait to hear how your summer was!
Sunset on the beach? Washington is beautiful! Looks like you treated Mona to a fabulous time!
Oh no, she met her demise!!!
But she enjoyed some beautiful sites while it lasted... :)
Nice shots...did you have to fling Mona into the air to get her into those pics? - LOL Great job on this post - sure is pretty there...oh and I can only imagine the photographic evidence of her demise...poor MM.
At least she got to see some great sites before she passed on. :) Moxie Media looks like a fun site. I have no idea how Lolli finds the time!
BTW, glad to have you back!
Mona is no match against a toddler!
Love the skyline - gorgeous view of Mt Ranier! Sorry top hear that Mona had a rough go of it. Poor girl. No wonder she drank so much in the other locations. LOL
Mona's been getting attacked all over the place. Good thing she's been cloned. :) Loved seeing the sights in Seattle!
HOW FUN!
Poor Mona, defeated by a toddler. I know how that feels! I'm still trying to figure out how she was able to perch for those pictures without falling into the water - she is amazing...
LOL! Im glad you had a great summer!
Looks like Mona had a alot of fun with you:-)
Good to see you back! Poor Mona....it seems she may have had contact with many a baby and toddler in her visits! She probably has the swine flu right now!
Mona's tough - she can probably survive the terror of a toddler. In fact, I'm willing to bet she just put up with it because the little Beauty is such a cutie! :)
Welcome back! Glad you had a wonderful break.
It's so good to have you back! Looks like you had a great time with Mona. I'm glad you had a good time on your little vacation. Now back to business. ;)
OUCH! So cute. What a fun tour.
Ahahaha! Love it! Looks like Mona had a wonderful Summer vacay! I am in Washington too!!!! Woot! Great blog, I will be back :)
How could Mona NOT have a good time with a little beast : ) That looks fantastically pretty. I love farms!
Welcome back!!
Melinda
Just visiting from Mama's Losing It (Around the BLogosphere with Mona). Moving next month to the Puget Sound. Always nice to see great photos of the area :)
Mona was dangling precariously in some of these pictures. I was worried...but not nearly as worried as seeing her in a teething little mouth. I hope she made it!
Those are great shots - my favorite is that first one of Mt. Rainier. (And it's nice to see you back. :))
Yay!!!! You're back. You have been missed! Hope you had a wonderful break!
Yay! Welcome back! Loved the pics. And Beauty has grown up so much!
Welcome back!!! You have been missed! Hope you had a great summer.
beautiful pictures of the water front! LOL for the slobbering of Moxie!!
You're back! So wonderful to see you again in the blogosphere, Carebear. You've been missed.
And what better way to return to blogging than with a post like this. Such fun. Adored seeing the Seattle skyline. However, the pics of Beauty and Mona were far and away my favorites.
Thanks for playing along!
Oh silly Mona. Appears as though mischief has indeed been managed.
Way to represent!! Woohoo!! Glad she got to see such a beautiful sunset! =)
And I'm SO glad you're back! I was thinking about you the other day wondering when you'd be returning. =)
